Points Frog now has 26 free money calculators. They answer the questions people ask before a big decision: Can I afford this house? Am I saving enough to retire? How long will this card take to pay off? Each one runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us, and none of them asks you to sign up.
Every calculator also has its own page that explains the math and names its data, with the date it was checked. The calculators page lists them all. Here is what each group does.
Home and mortgages
The mortgage calculator shows your monthly payment with property tax and insurance. It also lays out a year-by-year amortization schedule and what extra payments save. The 15 vs 30-year mortgage calculator compares the two most common loan terms side by side. The refinance calculator finds your new payment and the month a refinance breaks even.
Three more help before you buy. The home affordability calculator works out the price you can pay under the 28/36 rule and shows how each change in rates moves it. The house poor calculator checks your housing costs against the 30% line HUD uses. The rent vs buy calculator tracks net worth both ways, year by year, and finds the break-even year.
Retirement
The retirement calculator grows what you have saved to your retirement age in today's dollars. It shows a steady case and an optimistic case based on S&P 500 history. The FIRE calculator finds your FIRE number and the age you could reach it, with Lean, Coast and Fat FIRE. The 401(k) match calculator checks whether you get your full employer match under the 2026 limits. The Social Security calculator compares claiming at any age from 62 to 70.
Saving and investing
The compound interest calculator shows how monthly additions and compounding grow a balance, with the rule of 72. The savings goal calculator works backward from a goal and a date to a monthly amount. The emergency fund calculator sizes a cushion of three to six months of essentials, or more. The inflation calculator shows what $100 from any year since 1913 is worth today, from the consumer price index.
Loans and debt
The car loan calculator shows your payment and the total interest from 36 to 84 months. The credit card payoff calculator finds your payoff date and compares the debt snowball with the debt avalanche.
Income and net worth
The income percentile calculator ranks an income against people your age, in the US or any state, from Census survey data. The salary to hourly calculator converts pay both ways, with paychecks and overtime. The net worth calculator compares your net worth with the median and mean for your age from the Federal Reserve. The country comparison puts any two countries side by side on GDP, prices and income, from World Bank data.
Cards, points and travel
These use Points Frog's own value for each rewards program. The best credit card calculator ranks popular rewards cards by what they would earn on your spending, after fees. The annual fee calculator weighs a card's credits, lounge visits and points against its fee. The cents per point calculator checks whether a redemption is a good deal. The lounge access calculator compares day passes, Priority Pass and a card. The travel budget calculator adds up a trip in dollars and the local currency.
And one for fun
Is he out there? counts how many US adults fit a dating list by age, income, height and more, from Census and CDC data. It gives no scores and no judgment, just the numbers.
Where the numbers come from
The calculators use public data and say so on each page. Mortgage rates come from Freddie Mac's weekly survey. Income ranks use the Census Bureau's American Community Survey. Net worth uses the Federal Reserve's Survey of Consumer Finances, and inflation uses the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Each page shows the date its figures were last checked. The results are educational estimates, not financial advice.
Use them on your own site
Every calculator can go on a blog or website for free. Copy the code from the panel under the calculator and paste it into your page. It sizes itself and carries no ads or tracking. The embed guide shows where to paste it in WordPress, Squarespace and other site builders.
