How much are Qantas Frequent Flyer points worth?
Qantas Frequent Flyer points have an estimated average redemption value of 1.2 US cents per unit in Points Frog’s valuation catalog. That makes 10,000 points worth approximately $120.00 and 100,000 worth approximately $1,200.00. These are comparison estimates, not cash balances or a promise of what a specific award will return.
About Qantas Frequent Flyer
Qantas Frequent Flyer is a loyalty program from Qantas, recorded in points. The value of a travel reward depends on the itinerary, cabin, availability, and taxes or fees attached to the award. A points balance by itself does not determine which seats or rewards are available.
The catalog associates Qantas Frequent Flyer with Qantas Airways, Jetstar. These carriers share the program; they are not separate points balances in this calculator.

How to calculate your Qantas Frequent Flyer points value
Multiply your balance by 1.2 and divide by 100 to get the estimated US-dollar value. For example, 50,000 × 1.2 ÷ 100 = $600.00. The calculator then multiplies that dollar estimate by the selected currency’s units-per-dollar rate. Changing currency changes the display, not the underlying value of your rewards.
Check the value of an actual redemption
Subtract the taxes and fees you would pay on the award from the comparable cash price, then divide by the points required. Multiply the result by 100 to express it in cents per point. For a $500 booking with $50 in award fees costing 25,000 points, the redemption returns 1.8 cents per point. Compare that result with the 1.2-cent estimate for Qantas Frequent Flyer, while considering the flexibility and cancellation terms of the booking.
What this calculator does—and what to check
This tool estimates redemption purchasing power. It does not redeem, transfer, sell, or exchange points. Reward pricing, expiration rules, eligibility, and redemption options are set by the program; check the current terms before using your rewards. A published average can be useful for comparing an award with a cash purchase, but your particular redemption can be worth more or less.
