Etihad Guest is running a member-only Promo Award sale with up to 50% off select award flights to and from Abu Dhabi. The catch is a short booking window: you need to book by October 31, 2026, and travel by December 15.
The Promo Award sale

The deepest cuts are 50% off in both cabins to Hanoi, Phnom Penh and, in economy, Casablanca. First class to Paris is also on sale, dropping from 120,000 to 105,000 miles.
Read the fine print. The discount applies to the base fare only, and taxes and carrier surcharges still apply. At least 75% of the base fare must be paid in miles. Seats are limited and subject to availability, so the sale price will not show on every flight.
Plan your miles first
Before you book, make sure you have enough miles in your account. Sale seats are limited, and some transfers take time to post.
If you plan to move points into Etihad Guest, there is another deadline to know. Etihad's global bonus campaign pays up to 40% extra on transfers from participating partner programs, and it also ends on October 31. We covered the tiers and fine print in our story on the Etihad Guest transfer bonus. Two points matter here. First, Etihad's offer page does not list every participating program, so confirm yours qualifies before you move points. Second, Etihad says the bonus miles post within 30 business days after the campaign ends. That means bonus miles will arrive too late to use on this sale. Only the base miles from a transfer can go toward a sale award.
Transfers to Etihad Guest also cannot be reversed. Check award space on the exact dates you want before you move a single point.
Who should look closely
The sale only covers flights to and from Abu Dhabi. It works best for three kinds of travelers:
- Travelers who live in a sale city, such as Seoul, Paris, Nairobi or Johannesburg, and want a trip to Abu Dhabi
- Travelers already headed to Abu Dhabi who can add a side trip to Hanoi, Phnom Penh or the Seychelles
- Members with an Etihad Guest balance that has been sitting idle
For many readers the standout is business class. A 35,000-mile business class award between Abu Dhabi and Hanoi is a low price, even after surcharges.
