Marriott has a long-dated points offer for its select-service brands. Book a participating AC Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott, Fairfield by Marriott, Four Points by Sheraton or Postcard Cabins stay with promotional code 53M, and Marriott Bonvoy members earn 2,000 bonus points for every paid night through June 30, 2027.
Marriott's 2K Everyday offer page is the primary source. The bonus sits on top of the base points and any elite bonuses you already earn on a Qualifying Rate. There is no stated cap on how many bonus points you can collect during the promotion window.
How to book it
You must use code 53M. Enter it when you reserve on Marriott.com or in the Marriott Bonvoy app, or quote it if you book by phone. A stay booked without the code does not earn the 2,000-point nightly bonus, even at a participating hotel.
The offer is limited to participating hotels in those five brands. Not every AC, Courtyard, Fairfield, Four Points or Postcard Cabins property is in the list, and Marriott says a limited number of rooms are available on the rate. Check the participating-property list on the offer page before you plan a trip around it.
Up to three regular rooms per paid night, per member, can earn. Groups of 10 or more rooms are out. Blackout dates and special-event periods can block the rate. Taxes are extra, and Marriott says this offer cannot be combined with other special offers.
Who is left out
Members who have chosen to earn airline miles instead of Marriott Bonvoy points are not eligible. Award stays and other non-qualifying rates do not earn the bonus. Advance reservations are required.
The offer page's short FAQ names AC Hotels, Courtyard and Four Points in one place and lists Fairfield and Postcard Cabins with the brand tiles and the main headline. Treat the full brand list on the offer page as the rule, and confirm the hotel you want appears as participating when you search with code 53M.
Is 2,000 points a night worth chasing
At a working value near 0.7 cents per Bonvoy point, 2,000 bonus points are about $14 a night before you count base earn. That will not turn a mediocre hotel into a great one, but it adds up on a week-long stay you were already booking at one of these brands.
A five-night Courtyard trip at the offer rate would add 10,000 bonus points on top of base points. A 10-night stay would add 20,000. Because the bonus is per night, longer trips gain more than Marriott's fall "per stay" promotion, which pays a flat 1,500 or 4,500 points for a two-night-plus stay through November 22.
Stack carefully. Marriott says special offers cannot be combined, so do not assume you can layer 53M on top of More at Resorts or a deep prepaid deal. Compare the cash rate with 53M against the cash rate without it. If the code raises the room rate by more than the bonus is worth, skip it.
My take
I would use 53M when I already prefer an AC, Courtyard, Fairfield, Four Points or Postcard Cabins hotel and the coded rate is close to the best flexible price. Two thousand points a night is a modest sweetener with a long runway to June 2027. It is not a reason to reroute a luxury trip.
