Virgin Red offers triple points on train tickets and 10 per £1 on Booking.com through Nov. 30
Virgin Trains Ticketing pays 9 Virgin Points per £1 on journeys across Great Britain, and Virgin Red pays 10 per £1 on eligible UK and Europe Booking.com stays booked by Nov. 30.

Virgin Red is paying extra Virgin Points on train tickets and hotel stays this month. From Nov. 2 to Nov. 30, 2026, members can earn triple points on train tickets bought through Virgin Trains Ticketing and 10 points per £1 on eligible Booking.com stays.
Both offers come from a Virgin press release pitched at winter getaways. They are aimed at UK travelers, but anyone with a Virgin Red account who books trains in Great Britain or hotels in the UK and Europe can take part.
The two offers
| Offer | Earn rate | Booking window |
|---|---|---|
| Virgin Trains Ticketing | 9 Virgin Points per £1 | Through Nov. 30, 2026 |
| Booking.com via Virgin Red | 10 Virgin Points per £1 | 9 a.m. GMT Nov. 2 to 11:59 p.m. GMT Nov. 30, 2026 |
Triple points on train tickets
Virgin Trains Ticketing normally pays 3 Virgin Points per £1. During the offer, it pays 9 points per £1, which is triple the usual rate.
According to Virgin, the deal covers train journeys across Great Britain on any rail operator, not just Virgin trains. The trip itself can take place during the offer or later, as long as you buy the ticket while it runs. Virgin also says there are no booking fees.
That makes this an easy add-on for anyone who already rides trains in Britain. If you were going to buy the ticket anyway, booking it through Virgin earns more points for the same fare.
10 points per £1 on Booking.com
Virgin Red members can also earn 10 Virgin Points per £1 spent on eligible Booking.com stays in the UK or Europe. To qualify, you must book through Virgin Red between 9 a.m. GMT on Nov. 2 and 11:59 p.m. GMT on Nov. 30, 2026.
The stay itself can be on any date. That means you can lock in points now for a trip next spring or summer, as long as the booking is made in the window.
As with most portal offers, read the terms before you book. Points usually depend on the booking being tracked through Virgin Red, so start from the Virgin Red site or app rather than going straight to Booking.com.
What the points could add up to
Virgin gave its own example. A £600 hotel stay booked through Virgin Red would earn 6,000 Virgin Points. Add £100 of train tickets and the total rises to 6,900 points.
Virgin then pointed to rewards in that range. Afternoon Tea for Two costs 6,250 points on Virgin Red. A Comedy Night for Two costs 5,250 points. The points can also go toward Virgin Atlantic reward flights, though Virgin notes that taxes, fees and carrier charges apply to those.
Is it worth it?
For most travelers, the train offer is the clearer win. You pay the normal fare and simply earn more points. There is little reason not to book through Virgin if you are already buying a ticket in Britain this month.
The Booking.com offer takes a little more care. Portal prices can differ from booking direct with a hotel. Direct bookings may also earn hotel loyalty points and elite credit that a Booking.com stay will not. Compare the full price, and what you give up, before you choose.
Points collectors outside the UK have another reason to watch Virgin Red right now. Capital One is running a 30% bonus on transfers to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and Virgin Red through Nov. 20. UK drivers can also now turn InstaVolt charging points into Virgin Points.
