United and Chase have raised the welcome offers on the full lineup of United cobranded cards. The top offers now reach 100,000 miles on the United Club card and the United Business card. NerdWallet reports that these offers have been live since October 1 and are available for a limited time. Gary Leff at View from the Wing wrote them up on October 26, alongside a look at how card perks now shape what members earn and spend on United flights.

No end date has been published, so treat these as offers that could change without much notice.

The current offers

Each personal card offer below combines a base bonus with 10,000 extra miles for adding an authorized user in the first three months, as reported by NerdWallet.

CardTotal bonusSpend in 3 monthsAnnual fee
United Gateway50,000$1,000$0
United Explorer80,000$3,000$0 first year, then $150
United Quest90,000$4,000$350
United Club100,000$5,000$695

The United Business card also offers up to 100,000 miles, split the same way with the authorized user bonus, after $5,000 in spending in three months. Its annual fee is $150.

There are status extras too. The Quest card adds 500 Premier qualifying points after your first purchase. The Business card adds 2,000 Premier qualifying points after you meet its $5,000 spending requirement.

NerdWallet values United miles at about 1.2 cents each. By that measure, the top offers are worth roughly $1,200 before you count any card perks.

Cardholders earn more on United flights

The bigger story may be what happens after you get the card. For United tickets bought on or after April 2, 2026, cardholders earn more miles per dollar than members without a United card. View from the Wing laid out the rates:

MileagePlus statusMiles per dollar, no cardMiles per dollar, with card
General member36
Premier Silver58
Premier Gold69
Premier Platinum710
Premier 1K912

For a general member, holding a card doubles what a United ticket earns.

Cheaper awards for cardholders

United cardholders also get discounts on awards, according to View from the Wing:

  • At least 10% off awards on United and United Express flights
  • 15% off for cardholders who also hold Premier status
  • Access to extra Polaris saver award space

These discounts do not apply to partner awards or to Money + Miles bookings. They can take up to five weeks after your card is issued to appear. The Gateway card is the exception on access: you need to spend $10,000 on it in a calendar year to unlock the award benefits.

Who should look closely

If you fly United a few times a year, the Explorer card's first-year fee waiver and 80,000-mile offer stand out. You get the bonus, the higher earning rate on flights and the award discount for no cost in year one.

Frequent United flyers with lounge habits should run the numbers on the Club card. The $695 fee is steep, but 100,000 miles plus the flight earning boost can make up a good part of it in year one.

Small business owners can look at the Business card, which pairs a 100,000-mile offer with a modest $150 fee and a chunk of Premier qualifying points.

Chase has its own rules about who can get a bonus, including limits tied to past United card bonuses. Read the terms on the application page before you apply.

The Points Frog take

These are strong offers across the whole United card lineup, and the timing makes sense. United now ties more of its value to holding a card: double miles on flights for general members, cheaper saver awards and more Polaris space. If you were already thinking about a United card, this is a good window. Just do not wait too long, since "limited time" can end without warning.
