LATAM Pass and Nubank are growing their tie-up in Brazil. Starting October 26, 2026, holders of the Nubank Croma card can move the points they earn into LATAM Pass, the loyalty program of LATAM Airlines. The points arrive as LATAM Pass miles.

To mark the launch, the two companies are running a short promotion. It lasts only two days, October 26 and 27.

The launch bonus

According to the release on the Nu newsroom, the promotion has two parts:

  • A 35% bonus on Croma points moved to LATAM Pass on October 26 and 27.
  • 1,000 extra miles on a customer's first transfer from Croma to LATAM Pass.

The 1,000-mile bonus applies even to people who have sent points to LATAM Pass from other banks before. What counts is that it is their first transfer from Croma.

How transfers work

Transfers are done in the Nubank app. To use them, Croma customers must be registered with LATAM Pass. The release says the transfers are subject to the terms and benefits in effect at the time.

There are two limits to keep in mind:

  • Transfers can start at just 1 point.
  • There is an operational limit of 1 million points per transfer.

The release does not list the standard rate at which Croma points turn into LATAM Pass miles. Check the rate in the Nubank app or on the LATAM Pass partner page before you move a large balance. As with most point transfers, it is safest to assume a move can't be undone.

How this builds on Ultravioleta

This is not the first link between the two brands. Nubank Ultravioleta customers already have LATAM Pass Mode. The release describes it as a feature that sends points to the program on its own. It also earns bonuses and Qualifying Points, which count toward LATAM Pass status.

The new Croma option is a manual transfer, made by the customer in the app. The release does not say that LATAM Pass Mode is coming to Croma.

What the companies say

Both sides framed the move as a way to make miles easier to earn.

"We want to make the journey of earning and using miles increasingly simple," said Martin Holdschmidt, General Manager of LATAM Pass in Brazil. "Expanding our partnership with Nubank allows us to bring this convenience to more customers, who will be able to turn the points they accumulate every day into travel opportunities with LATAM."

Tulio Oliveira, Vice President of Nubank Croma and Nubank Ultravioleta, said the change gives customers "greater flexibility to turn points accumulated in everyday life into miles and plan upcoming trips conveniently, directly through the Nubank app."

Who this is for

This news is for people with a Nubank card in Brazil. U.S. cardholders can't use it. Still, it shows LATAM Pass adding more ways for members in Brazil to earn miles from everyday card spending.

If you hold a Croma card and already plan to fly LATAM, the timing is tight. The 35% bonus ends after October 27. Before you transfer, look up the award you want so you know how many miles you need.
