Singapore Airlines has released its November round of KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes, and this month includes flights to and from the US. According to the KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes page, members get 30% off Saver award prices on selected Singapore Airlines flights.

You must issue the ticket between October 15 and October 31, 2026. Travel must take place between November 1 and November 30, 2026. Selected Scoot flights are 15% off Economy Saver awards in the same sale.

The US and Europe deals

All prices below are one way, per person, after the discount and before taxes and fees.

In economy:

  • Los Angeles, San Francisco or Seattle to Singapore, and back: 30,800 miles each way.
  • Frankfurt to New York on SQ26: 19,250 miles.
  • Singapore to London, Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Milan, Rome, Brussels or Copenhagen, and back: 30,800 miles. Amsterdam to Singapore is listed one way only.
  • Singapore to Istanbul, and back: 22,400 miles.

In premium economy:

  • Frankfurt to New York, and New York to Frankfurt: 39,900 miles.
  • Singapore to San Francisco: 55,300 miles, one way only.
  • Singapore to several European cities, including Frankfurt, Milan and Paris: 52,150 miles.

No business class awards on US or European routes are part of this month's sale. Each route has its own blackout dates, and each deal is tied to specific flight numbers, so read the tables on the page closely.

The rules are strict

Spontaneous Escapes tickets are cheap for a reason. Singapore Airlines lists these terms:

  • Book only on singaporeair.com or the SingaporeAir app. Phone agents, ticket offices and travel agents cannot book them.
  • Changes are not allowed. You also cannot cancel a ticket that is partly or fully unused.
  • No stopovers, no codeshare flights and no mix of miles and cash.
  • For a round trip, both flights must be on the list and both must fall in November. If not, book each way on its own.
  • Taxes and fees are paid in cash and are not discounted.
  • Seats are limited and go first come, first served.

Because you cannot cancel, only book a trip you are sure about. If your plans could change, a regular Saver award is safer, even at a higher price.

Getting the miles

KrisFlyer is a transfer partner of several US card programs. That makes it easy to top up an account, though transfers can take time to post. Search the award first, confirm the seat is open, and then move only the miles you need. Our KrisFlyer page shows how we value the miles.

You also need some miles in your account before you can search awards on the Singapore Airlines site. If you are starting from zero, plan for that step.

The Frankfurt to New York flight is the standout for US travelers heading home from Europe. At 19,250 miles in economy, or 39,900 in premium economy, it is a low price for a transatlantic flight on a full-service airline.

My take

I would look hard at the Frankfurt to New York deal if I had a November trip to Europe already planned. The no-cancellation rule is the real cost here. I would only book once my dates were locked.
