Qatar will restore lost Privilege Club status for members who book a Doha departure by December 18

A tier restoration offer covers members downgraded since March 1 or expiring by December 18, for travel from Doha through April 1, 2027. A separate code, FLYQRVA27, pays up to 24,000 bonus Avios on Doha–Australia flights booked by October 30.

Three offers in one month

Qatar Airways Privilege Club has spent October trying to win back the members it lost during the Gulf's difficult spring. There are three offers, with different dates, and they are easy to confuse.

The first has already closed. A Double Qpoints accelerator ran for bookings made October 5 to 10 on flights from Doha, for travel through December 18, with bonus Qpoints paid on top of the normal tier points for any cabin or fare family. Its official page is still live for members who booked in time; the reference code for questions is 2610PC079, and no registration was needed.

Tier restoration

The second is the one that matters most. Members whose Privilege Club tier was downgraded between March 1 and October 4, 2026, or whose tier expires between October 5 and December 18, can have their previous tier restored by booking a Qatar Airways flight that originates in Doha between October 11 and December 18, for travel between October 11, 2026 and April 1, 2027. The offer was announced on October 6 and reported by Qatar Tribune and Marhaba. Qatar has not published a landing page for it, and neither report gives a registration link; the practical advice is to check your Privilege Club account and email for the invitation, and to quote your membership number when booking.

The restoration follows a year of tier support. Qatar extended tiers expiring between February and May by three months during the airspace closures, then replaced that with lower retention thresholds through November 30: Silver at 110 Qpoints, Gold at 225 and Platinum at 450, against the standard 135, 270 and 540. The Double Qpoints page says members can "retain or upgrade your tier with fewer Qpoints" on travel until December 18. From December 1 the upgrade thresholds rise to 150, 300 and 600, so a member who can restore a tier now is restoring it just before it gets harder to earn.

FLYQRVA27: bonus Avios to Australia

The third offer is for Australia-bound flyers and is unrelated to status. Enter the code FLYQRVA27 before booking on qatarairways.com or the app between October 6 and October 30, 2026, for travel between January 17 and October 31, 2027, on Doha flights to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide or Canberra, and you earn bonus Avios per one-way sector: 3,000 in Economy Classic or Convenience, 6,000 in Economy Comfort, and 12,000 in Business or First, up to 24,000 on a round trip. The terms require a revenue ticket, which includes Cash + Avios but not awards, marketed by Qatar and operated by Qatar or Virgin Australia. The bonus applies only to the Doha–Australia sector on a connecting itinerary, is not combinable with other bonus Avios offers, and posts within 14 days of travel. You can use it more than once.

At our Privilege Club calculator value of about 1.3 cents per Avios, a round trip in Business returns roughly $310 in bonus Avios, which is a fair reward on a fare that costs several thousand dollars anyway.

What to do

If you lost Gold or Platinum this year and have any reason to fly out of Doha before April, book it now and make sure your membership number is on the ticket. If you are flying to Australia next year, apply the code before you search; it cannot be added afterward. And if you are moving bank points into Privilege Club this month, the separate Global Points Exchange bonus, which we covered in our transfer piece, runs to October 31.
