Hilton's LXR Hotels & Resorts brand has arrived in India. According to Hilton's announcement dated October 13, 2026, The Den Bengaluru has joined LXR as the brand's first property in the country.
LXR is Hilton's collection of independent luxury hotels. The Den Bengaluru is part of Hilton Honors, so members can earn points on paid stays and book with points. Hilton did not give a points price in the release.
The hotel
The Den Bengaluru is in Whitefield, a large tech and business district in east Bengaluru. Hilton lists:
- 226 rooms, studios and suites.
- More than 21,000 square feet of event space across seven venues.
- Restaurants and bars including Layla, The Creek, The Deli and The Cold Press.
- Two signature programs, called The Pause Program and Whitefield Unscripted.
The hotel is owned by Dan Hospitality India and managed by Hilton.
"India is one of Hilton's most important growth markets," said Zubin Saxena, Hilton's senior vice president and regional head for South Asia.
Vinesh Gupta, the hotel's general manager, said: "We are proud to partner with Hilton and enter a new chapter with The Den Bengaluru as a part of LXR Hotels & Resorts."
What Hilton Honors members get
Hilton's release says members who book through Hilton's own channels can pay with Points and Money, get member discounts and free standard Wi-Fi. The Hilton Honors app offers digital check-in, room selection and Digital Key.

Points or cash
Hilton prices Standard Room Rewards by date, so the points price can move from week to week. Whitefield is a business area, so weekday demand from work travel may push up prices, while weekends may be cheaper. Search a few dates and compare the points price with the cash rate before you decide.
If the cash rate is modest, paying cash and earning points may make more sense than spending them. Hilton Honors elite members who book five nights on points may get the fifth night free, under the program's rules.

My take
A Hilton luxury option in Whitefield is useful for business travelers who want to earn and burn Hilton points in Bengaluru. I would check whether weekend points prices drop, since that could make it a good leisure stay too. As always, I would book direct so the stay counts.
