Hyatt sets late-2026 target for its first all-inclusive Park Hyatt

The September luxury update also points to Mexico City in spring 2027 and an Isla Mujeres brand change in November.

Hyatt’s September 29 luxury-portfolio update identifies Park Hyatt Riviera Maya as the brand’s first planned all-inclusive hotel, with an opening expected by the end of 2026. The announcement also gives a spring 2027 target for the 155-room-and-suite Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco.

Elsewhere in the update, Hyatt says Impression Isla Mujeres will join The Unbound Collection by Hyatt on November 2. Park Hyatt Cabo del Sol, which opened in December 2025, is already part of the company’s Mexican portfolio.

A new operating model for Park Hyatt

The planned all-inclusive format is the notable brand development in Riviera Maya. It describes a different way of packaging a stay from a hotel rate that covers accommodation alone. The precise inclusions still need to be read in the offer attached to an actual reservation.

A brand-level announcement does not establish that every restaurant, treatment or experience will be included without additional charges. Travelers should identify the services important to them and check the property’s finalized booking terms. That makes the comparison with another resort more concrete than relying on the all-inclusive label alone.

The existing program directory gives rewards context. The program directory and points-value directory can help readers compare the hotel currency with other programs before deciding how to fund a trip.

Expected openings require date-level checks

The Riviera Maya and Mexico City dates are expectations stated by Hyatt. They should be treated as targets until the respective hotels confirm opening and bookable stays. A traveler planning around a special event should use the reservation’s actual dates and conditions rather than an approximate seasonal projection.

Mexico City and the Riviera Maya are also different kinds of destinations. One can anchor a city visit while the other supports a resort stay. A portfolio update makes them part of the same brand story, but the most useful choice depends on the traveler's itinerary, transportation and desired experience.

For members using points, the release does not establish a fixed award price or date-wide availability for either upcoming property. A reward search for the intended stay is needed before assigning a value to a potential redemption. Moving points based only on an opening announcement would leave important booking information unresolved.

The Isla Mujeres change has its own effective date

Impression Isla Mujeres’s planned move into The Unbound Collection is a brand affiliation change identified for November 2. Travelers with a booking spanning that period should review the current property information and the terms attached to their reservation. The broader luxury announcement does not by itself settle every existing booking’s inclusions.

The journey to Mexico is another part of the comparison. Lounge Frog’s airline directory, airport search and lounge directory provide existing resources for the flight segment and relevant airport facilities.

The news is a set of concrete development targets and a dated brand transition within Hyatt’s Americas portfolio. Confirmed openings and reservation-level reward information will make the announcements more actionable. Readers can follow subsequent hotel launches and loyalty updates in Points Frog news.
