Hyatt Regency Jiaxing Nanhu opened on September 28, bringing the Hyatt Regency brand to Jiaxing’s South Lake district in China. The 201-room hotel joins the recently opened Hyatt Place Jiaxing Nanhu in the same area.
Hyatt’s announcement includes 500 World of Hyatt bonus points per qualifying night from September 28 through December 31, 2026, under its new-hotel member offer. The release says no registration is required for that offer. Members still need a qualifying stay under the program’s terms.
Two Hyatt brands in one destination
The paired openings give readers two accommodation styles to investigate in Jiaxing. Hyatt describes the Regency as a full-service property and the Place as a more streamlined stay. The appropriate choice depends on the particular room, rate and services a traveler needs.
The Regency is beside South Lake and Nanhu Place, with the announcement highlighting access to the surrounding Yangtze River Delta. Its facilities include dining spaces, an indoor pool, a fitness center and meeting accommodation. Travelers should use the room and reservation details to establish what is included for their party.
The program directory, program directory and points-value directory provide existing rewards context. A property opening adds a new place to investigate, while the actual reward availability determines whether points can fund a particular visit.
The bonus can be calculated separately
At 500 bonus points per qualifying night, a two-night eligible stay would produce 1,000 bonus points, and a four-night eligible stay would produce 2,000. Those examples are arithmetic from the stated offer; they do not establish the base points or other benefits attached to every rate.
The offer’s no-registration feature removes one administrative step, but it does not remove the qualifying-night requirement. Members should attach the correct loyalty account and verify that the booked rate and dates meet the offer terms. A confirmation showing the hotel and dates is useful when checking the points later credited.
The cash price and bonus should also be assessed separately. A traveler would need to compare the actual hotel cost with available alternatives before deciding whether the additional points change the value of the stay. The bonus alone is not enough information to recommend an otherwise unnecessary trip.
Room access and airport lounge access are distinct
Hyatt’s release describes Regency Club access for suites and executive-floor rooms. That hotel benefit should be checked against the room category being reserved. It should not be confused with airport lounge access on the journey to China.
Lounge Frog’s airport search, airline directory and lounge directory are existing resources for the flight portion. Travelers connecting through Singapore Changi can research that airport alongside their hotel booking.
The news combines a completed hotel opening with a defined bonus period still available this fall. Readers can now check a real stay against the qualifying-night terms and compare it with the neighboring Hyatt option. More hotel openings and member offers are available in Points Frog news.
The qualifying-night dates are worth recording alongside the reservation so the eventual points credit can be checked.
