Hyatt has rebuilt Hyatt Leverage, its online travel platform for small and midsize businesses. The company announced the update on Oct. 30, 2026, in a release on its newsroom.
The platform offers preferred rates at more than 1,300 Hyatt hotels. It also lets both travelers and the people who book for them earn World of Hyatt points.
What Hyatt Leverage is
Hyatt Leverage is a program for companies that are too small for a big corporate hotel contract but still send staff on the road. Hyatt calls it an all-in-one online business travel platform.
The redesigned version is now powered by Spotnana, which Hyatt describes as a "Travel-as-a-Service platform." Hyatt says the change brings an integrated booking experience.
Hyatt lists three core benefits:
- One place for travel tasks. Companies can book, view and manage stays, travel spend and payments in one spot.
- Preferred rates. Rates are offered at more than 1,300 Hyatt hotels across Hyatt's five brand portfolios.
- World of Hyatt benefits. Both administrators and travelers can earn points for eligible travel and redeem them for free nights, suite upgrades, World of Hyatt FIND experiences and more.
Why it matters for points collectors
The loyalty angle is the part most points collectors will care about. Hyatt says Leverage gives World of Hyatt benefits to administrators as well as travelers.
For a small business owner who also books trips for a team, that could mean earning points on travel they set up for others. Hyatt's release does not say how many points administrators earn, or on which bookings. Check the program terms on Hyatt's site before you count on any earnings.
Who can join
Hyatt Leverage is not open to everyone. Hyatt says clients must meet criteria that include:
- Being legally organized in their country of origin.
- Being considered a small or midsize business.
- Booking at least 50 actualized room nights a year.
"Actualized" means nights that were actually stayed, not just booked.
There is also a booking limit. Hyatt says Leverage is not available for bookings made through a travel agency, consortia or other online booking tools. That matters for companies that already use a travel agency or a booking tool. They would need to book through Leverage itself to get these rates.
Existing clients
Hyatt says it has already moved select existing Leverage clients to the new platform. Other clients and new applicants can learn more, contact a Hyatt representative or reapply for eligibility at hyatt.com/leverage.
What Hyatt and clients said
Alice Harrington-Caravello, Hyatt's senior vice president for global sales and Americas commercial services, said small and midsize businesses "have long represented a critical segment for Hyatt hotels and the broader global business travel market."
"Today's travelers want greater personalization, collaboration and a seamless experience, and Hyatt Leverage makes booking and managing travel even easier through these new enhancements," she said.
Hyatt also quoted two clients. Stacy Slater of Brixmor Property Group said Hyatt Leverage "offers a compelling combination of discounted rates, global reach, and flexibility." Hasan Ehtisham of Quantbot Technologies said it helps "make travel management easier, with more access and better value for our employees globally."
The bottom line
This is not a promotion with a deadline. It is a refreshed tool for a specific kind of customer. If you run or book for a small company that stays at Hyatt hotels at least 50 nights a year, it may be worth applying. You could get lower rates and keep earning World of Hyatt points along the way.
If your company books through an agency or a corporate booking tool, Leverage rates won't show up there. You would need to weigh the rates against the convenience of your current setup.
Hyatt says its portfolio included more than 1,500 hotels and all-inclusive properties in 84 countries as of Sept. 30, 2026. Leverage rates cover more than 1,300 of them.
