Airline miles · By Patrick Karsh ·
ANA's cheapest Japan domestic awards are on sale again this week. Through its Weekly TOKU-TABI Mile page, ANA Mileage Club members can book selected domestic flights for 3,500, 5,500 or 6,500 miles one way.
The current list covers flights that depart from October 21 to October 27, 2026. You can book it from 12:00 a.m. on October 14 to 11:59 p.m. on October 20. ANA posts a new list around noon Japan time each Tuesday, so a fresh set of routes and dates follows every week.
What the miles buy
ANA gives a few examples for this week's flights:
- Tokyo to or from Kumamoto: 5,500 miles.
- Tokyo to or from Okinawa (Naha): 6,500 miles.
The week before, Osaka to Fukuoka was 3,500 miles and Tokyo to Kagoshima was 5,500. Tokyo means either Haneda or Narita, and Osaka covers Itami, Kansai and Kobe. ANA also says it has added more routes to Kyushu for flights from October 7 to November 3.
For comparison, ANA's regular domestic awards start at 6,000 miles one way for the shortest flights in low season, according to its domestic award page. Longer flights and busy dates cost more. So a 5,500-mile ticket from Tokyo to Kyushu is a real saving.
The fine print
These awards come with firm rules. According to ANA:
- You can only book on the ANA website or apps, from the flight award tab.
- Only direct flights qualify. Connecting trips are not allowed.
- Every flight on the ticket must be on the list and within the travel dates.
- You cannot mix a TOKU-TABI flight with a standard award on one ticket, or switch an existing award to this price.
- Changes must stay within the same booking and travel periods. You can switch airports only within the same city, such as Haneda and Narita.
- A refund needs every flight to be unused and costs 3,000 miles or 3,000 yen per person.
- Some dates are blacked out, including November 11 to 17, 2026.
Seats are limited, and ANA says the list of flights can change.
Who can use it
ANA's page does not say whether members who live outside Japan can book these awards. Its US domestic award page shows no limit by country for regular awards. If you are an overseas member, log in and check whether the TOKU-TABI prices appear for you before you build a trip around them.
These awards suit travelers who are already in Japan and can move on short notice. The booking window is only a week, and the flights leave soon after. A side trip from Tokyo to Okinawa or Kyushu is the obvious use.
Our ANA Mileage Club page shows how we value the miles. If you do not have ANA miles yet, note that transfers from card programs can take days, which is a problem for a one-week sale.
My take
I like these as a cheap add-on for anyone already in Japan with ANA miles in the account. The short window means you need the miles in place before Tuesday's list drops. I would check the new routes each week and book only direct trips you are sure to take.
