World of Hyatt's fall promotion pays 3,000 bonus points for every three eligible nights through December 15. · Hyatt","textStyle":"caption","layout":"text"},{"role":"body","format":"markdown","text":"## The offer\n\nWorld of Hyatt's fall promotion pays 3,000 bonus points for every three eligible nights a registered member completes between September 29 and December 15, 2026, with a cap of 36,000 bonus points, which is 36 nights. [Registration](https://world.hyatt.com/content/gp/en/offers/3k-bonus-points/) is open through December 15 and must be done before the first stay you want counted. The promotion has no marketing name, which is unusual for Hyatt and is why it has drawn less attention than it deserves.\n\nThree things make it better than the usual hotel promotion. Nights do not need to be consecutive, so three separate one-night stays qualify. Free night awards and points redemptions count as eligible nights, not just paid stays. And the bonus is paid in Hyatt points even if you have set your account to earn airline miles.\n\n## Who it is for\n\nThe obvious beneficiary is anyone with a Hyatt stay already booked for the fall. A six-night paid trip earns 6,000 bonus points on top of base points, worth about $90 at our working value of 1.5 cents per Hyatt point. Eligible nights include all participating Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide plus Mr & Mrs Smith properties, The Venetian in Las Vegas, and Homes & Hideaways, provided the booking goes through Hyatt's channels.\n\nThe less obvious beneficiary is the member chasing year-end status. Hyatt's award chart has Category 1 hotels at 3,500 points on standard dates and 3,000 on off-peak dates. Three off-peak Category 1 award nights cost 9,000 points and return 3,000, a net of 6,000 points, or 2,000 points per night, while each night also counts toward Globalist. [Frequent Miler](https://frequentmiler.com/hyatt-promo-earn-3k-bonus-points-for-every-3-nights-you-stay-max-36k-points/) worked through the same math. It is not free, but it is the cheapest way Hyatt has offered to buy elite nights this year.\n\n## The fine print\n\nOnly the room the member occupies counts, and only one room per stay earns, so booking two rooms for the family does not double the bonus. The membership number must be on the reservation before checkout. Stays that straddle December 15 still earn for the nights inside the window as long as the stay is completed by June 15, 2027. Bonus points post two to three weeks after checkout and are combinable with other Hyatt offers unless those offers say otherwise. [One Mile at a Time](https://onemileatatime.com/hyatt-promo-registration) notes that stays booked through Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts and Chase's hotel program count when they earn Hyatt points, which most do.\n\n## How it compares\n\nHyatt's summer promotion paid up to 8,000 points, so this is richer. Against the competition it is also the most flexible of the fall offers. Marriott needs two paid nights per stay and pays 1,500, or 4,500 at resorts, as we explained in [our Marriott piece](https://www.pointsfrog.com/news/marriott-bonvoy-fall-2026-promotion-1500-points-per-stay-4500-resorts-november-22). IHG pays multiples on paid stays only, from the second stay. Hilton pays per stay with no night minimum. Hyatt is the only one of the four that rewards award nights, which is the detail that makes it worth a second look for anyone sitting on a points balance.\n\n## What to do\n\nRegister now, before you forget, because an unregistered stay cannot be fixed later. Then count your booked nights between now and December 15 and see whether a cheap award night or two would round the total up to a multiple of three. If you are within a few nights of a Hyatt status tier, this is the promotion to use.","textStyle":"body","layout":"text"}]}
